Everyone wants a wind turbine  on the front of their house to show how environmentally friendly they are  but before you even go there, I suggest you get a device to measure the wind speed around your  property.

Here is the catch.  You cannot use a 99.00 cheap anemometer to do so.  You need  to do the following to have an accurate  reading of the wind and it is almost  the same price to put up  one of the cheaper wind turbines to do so.

You book in an appointment with Vern  and He will make an assessment  but before  he comes out to your place or  where you want a wind turbine installed  ask yourself the following questions.

To do it properly a 100 ft tower must be installed with professional wind  measuring instruments  attached for 1 year which will collect the data, costing 14,000.00 plus labour.

How do Wind Turbines Work

Then  if a turbine is purchased, then the same tower is used  to mount it on.

Are you allowed to put a 100 ft tower around your property?

You must find these things out first.

Ask yourself why you want a wind turbine?

What will you use it for?

A wind turbine  generates AC power called Alternating Current.

Do you want to store that power some how?

Do you want to connect the power your turbine so it generates to the grid?

These all effect the cost  of the unit or units which will be installed on your location.

One you understand exactly what it is you want to do, then  book in an appointment on line,

What?  No wind?

There are other ways to Generate electricity  is even that you really want.

Let me help you with your  needs.
